Arrive in Lima - Welcome to Lima, known as “the city of the Kings” and nowadays considered the culinary capital of South America. Upon your arrival you will be met and driven to our hotel. Manto Hotel Lima-Mallery Collection

City Tour Lima –Today your sightseeing tour explores Miraflores and San Isidro, the modern districts of Lima and its historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour includes a visit of San Francisco, the city’s most visited church (1674). Its underground tunnels lead to catacombs that served as cemetery until 1808 and still contain bones and skulls. Our next stop is at the Larco Herrera Museum. The collection will introduce you to 3,000 years of the Peruvian pre-Columbian history.. Lunch will be in the small and stylish restaurant set in the quiet garden of the museum. The Peruvian menu preserves the authenticity of Peruvian dishes combined with contemporary techniques. Sacred Valley – After breakfast you’ll fly to Cusco to begin exploring the Sacred Valley. You’ll stop at Chinchero to join a local weaving family in their courtyard for an overview of the Andean weaving process. Chinchero is renowned for the production of textiles done on backstrap looms. You watch as wool is carded, spun, and dyed and learn about the different
techniques used to create belts, ponchos and shawls. Lunch at local restaurant. Hotel

Sacred ValleyMARAS – MORAY The morning begins with a visit to the salt mines of
Maras where an intense white shines like snow on a sunny day. Salt was extracted from these mines from Inca times on and the same method has been used ever since. Next stop is Moray, the circular terraces hidden among the hills are similar to a Greek amphitheater
surrounded by an impressive backdrop of snow-covered mountains. Moray was used as an open-air agricultural lab for adapting crops to different environmental conditions. Enjoy a three-course lunch cooked by the families of the community with naturally cultivated ingredients from their fields. You can see most of the snow-capped mountains of the Sacred Valley and the surrounding farmlands. Finally, you will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo where the Temple of the Sun formed of six gigantic monoliths and the Terrace of the Ten Niches stand out. Hotel Pakaritampu. B, L

Machu Picchu - After breakfast we’ll walk a few meters to the Ollantaytambo train station. The train ride takes us through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes we will be greeted by our guide who will assist us onto the shuttle bus to the entrance of the citadel. During your guided tour you will experience the uniqueness of the location and the genius that went into its construction. You’ll have time to take pictures as you walk among the ruins. Lunch will be at Café Inkaterra, one of the restaurants of Machu Picchu Pueblo and blends Andean food with contemporary cuisine. The afternoon is free for you to explore the town, have a message, or walk around the main square and the artisanal market. An early evening train will return you back to Ollantaytambo where a private van will be waiting to drive you to Cusco. Abittare Hotel B, L

CuscoSACSAYHUAMAN - PLANETARIUM - Your city tour includes the beautiful Koricancha, also known as the Sun Temple, the Cathedral as well as the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. 

Lunch at Uchu Peruvian Steakhouse. Is located in a colonial home in the historic center of Cusco, exposed adobe walls, clay, aged wood, avant-garde textiles, candles and crystals create an eclectic ambience and a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy an unforgettable culinary experience.. Carved wooden bases, volcanic stones prepared at high temperatures, an ample selection of dishes - from classic steak and BBQ ribs to surf and turf dishes, native aji creams and aromatic herbs provide a unique dining experience.

The ancient cultures always had a close relationship with their environment, nature and
the universe. The Incas were no exception, so we visit the Planetarium in Cusco to get a much better understanding of the role and significance of the stars in the life of ancient Andean culture. Duration approx. 1.5 hours, we recommend you bring warm clothes. Abittare Hotel B, L

Cusco SAN MEDRO MARKET - Exploring on foot is the best way to experience the magical flair and cultural richness of what was once the capital of the Inca Empire. Your walk begins with the San Pedro market, where you will immerse yourself among the locals and witness their everyday life. You will see beautiful colonial houses on Plazoleta Regocijo and in Café Carbel you will learn the story of a pioneer who collected the finest coffee beans and was one of the first to install a roaster in Cusco. Enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee from the region!
Dinner at Map Café. The restaurant’s owner Jorge Luis Ossio is one of Peru’s most  renowned chefs. The sophisticated MAP Cafe is housed in a modernist glass box set in the courtyard of the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art (MAP) Abittare Hotel B, D

CUSCO – LIMA After breakfast there will be time for a final walk around the plaza before
taking your flight back to Lima.
